Maritime Special ForcesLittle is known of China's Special Operations capabilities. However, China reported that in August of 2001, a company of assault swimmers took part in an excercise where they siezed the beach and 1,000 meters away from the intended target (for follow-on elements to assault). They were equipped with personal weapons, small missiles, GPS & NVG, and a new rope-throwing device.
