Force F " Zorros "

Force F " Zorros "

Force F was created in 1983 by Colonel Ramon Sanchez, then Chief of Mexico's Capitol police, as a force equipped to fight organized crime and narco-terrorism. It has since evolved and taken on the additional missions requiring a force of dedicated counter-guerrillas and anti-terrorists.

Force F, better known as the Zorros, is a 350-man unit based just north of Mexico city. They are organized into three main groups, " urban commando squads ", " Emergency Ordinance Disposal Squads ", and " Sniper and Marksmanship Squads ." Force F is a volunteer force; officers have to undergo a selection process and pass in order to join.
