WARD in 1919 Drawing of Ward circa 1919. At this point she still had the open bridge and deck mounted #4 gun. Most of the time the framing around the bridge was covered with canvas sheets as shown in the sectional study.

Camouflage design sheet for Ward's starboard side. This was Camouflage Measure 31, design sheet 12T. The colors consisted of 5-OG Ocean Green, 5-NG Navy Green, and black for vertical surfaces (bulkheads) and horizontals (decks). As of yet I've found no concrete evidence that Ward was painted in these colors, but the pattern matches.
Ward's port side appears to be in a different pattern than 12T, but we are including it here for reference.
