Just for the Teens

(The mark of a Naval Sea Cadet who has passed Navy SEAL Training)
This page is for the teenagers who are beginning to look into a career in the military and special operations. The organizations below offer a glimpes into what SpecOps personnel do. Follow the links and check out local units. If anyone has first hand knowledge of these units and would like to share your stories please e-mail me. If they involve any of the "special" unit I will post your information here(if you like).

Young
Marines: From
what I understand this is a relativly new program. It is like the
NSCC, but with the USMC instead. May be between the ages of 8 and
17. Classes include:
Swimming, SCUBA, Orienteering, Corpsman, Communications, Marksmanship, Drill Team Training, Basic Training, encampments, and it's rumored some Recon training.
Again I am not familiar with this unit. So if anyone can help me, please e-mail me.
Civil Air Patrol: The CAP does mostly flighing, however
it has a few classes worth doing. Pilot Survival courses are
given but the best SOF class is:
Basic Pararescue Training: Non Airborne
Advanced Parsrescue Training: Airborne (I believe)
British
Army Cadet Force: It
includes Parachute Regiment Training(yes you will jump out of a
plane). Also incldes infantry training for all cadets.
Russia put's on a Parachute course for teenagers. The teachers are part of their Special Responce Units, the Spetznaz.
Australian SASR soldiers often help out with Legacy Ward.
More to come soon....If you have any further information e-mail me.
I would like to thank all the sites that are up about these fine units. I "borrowed" most of the images you see from their official sites. All information was found in the open and no copyright enfrigment was meant.
